Frequently Asked Questions
🎨 About the Artwork
Do you only paint pet portraits?
Not at all! While pets are a big part of my work, I also paint people, wildlife, landscapes, and the occasional whimsical bug or botanical. I create bright, bold acrylic paintings on canvas to order, and I also paint murals for homes, businesses, and community spaces. If you have something else in mind, just ask—I love a creative challenge.

What kind of art do you offer?
I mainly work in watercolours, acrylics, graphite, and charcoal. My style ranges from loose and expressive to detailed and characterful. You'll also find some homeware, prints, and gifts featuring my designs.

How do I commission a portrait?
Head over to the Commissions page to see pricing and examples. Then send me a clear photo of your pet, person, or place. I'll confirm timings, pricing, and next steps, and we'll work together to create something beautiful.

How long does a commission take?
Most portraits take 2–3 weeks to complete, but please be aware that my waiting list can be anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months, depending on the time of year. If you need a piece for a specific date, get in touch as early as possible.

Can you work from multiple photos to create one portrait?
Yes! If you'd like me to combine several pets (or people) into one portrait, just send me the clearest photos you have and I'll work from those to create a natural composition.

Do you offer digital portraits?
At the moment, I only create hand-painted original artwork using watercolours, acrylics, graphite, or charcoal. However, prints of my original work are available in the shop.

Do you ship artwork?
Yes, I post originals, prints, and gifts across the UK (and internationally on request). Shipping costs are agreed during the booking process based on the size and destination of your order.
