Perfect for complete beginners—or for anyone who’s dabbled with watercolours before but would like to refresh their skills and build strong foundations. This friendly 6-week course will gently guide you through the basics of watercolour painting, helping you grow in confidence and creativity.

Starting Thursday 11th September, we’ll meet weekly from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Digby Hall, where you'll explore colour mixing, brushwork, and simple techniques in a relaxed, no-pressure environment.

Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time, coming back to watercolours after a long break, or wanting to improve your basic techniques, this course is for you.

I’ll provide all the materials for the first session, where we’ll also cover what basic supplies you’ll need for the rest of the course. (Don’t worry—getting started with watercolours doesn’t need to be expensive!)

I ask you to bring your own supplies from week two onwards (unless you already have them) so that you can practise between sessions—because, practice makes progress!

There will be an optional follow-on course after October half term if you’d like to keep developing your skills.

£15 per session, bookable as a block of 6 - So just £90 for the course.
